Let’s start with something easy. Can you tell us a little about your professional background and areas of focus?
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and certified addiction professional. I have experience working with individuals suffering from substance abuse and their families. I have more than five years of experience working with young adults, helping them process developmental challenges and family-of-origin concerns.
How would you describe your approach to therapy?
I utilize an individualized approach incorporating a variety of therapeutic models. I see myself as a guide, helping patients find their own answers through a collaborative process.
What would your patients say about you?
Patients have described me as someone who helps them put words to their feelings and experiences as well as consider different perspectives. Patients often report as feeling understood.
How did you become interested in working with psychedelics including ketamine?
I became interested in the therapeutic use of psychedelics due to their potential to alleviate mental health challenges via facilitating new understanding and perspectives of oneself.
What excites you most about the future of psychedelics?
I'm excited by the potential of psychedelics to alleviate suffering through fostering new understanding of oneself.
