Let’s start with something easy. Can you tell us a little about your professional background and areas of focus?

I have worked for a psychiatrist for the past three years. I see patients remotely, focusing on depression, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, PTSD and a variety of others.

How would you describe your approach to therapy?

I have a very patient centered approach. I like to structure my sessions in a patient guided manner, where I make sure that the patient always feels listened to and understood. I know seeing a mental health provider can not always be the easiest thing, so I like to make my patients as comfortable as possible. I approach the session in such a way that the patient feels like their opinion matters, and the course of treatment is decided on by both them and I.

What would your patients say about you?

Patients have said I am easy to connect with, relatable, bubbly, accessible, knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic, engaging, friendly

How did you become interested in working with psychedelics including ketamine?

Psychedelics are the future of this field. Research keeps pouring in showing how great of an impact these medications can have on psychological disorders. I knew I wanted to be a part of it and start helping people myself. On top of this, I have had many patients and colleges try psychedelic therapy and the results have been astounding. I have seen treatment resistant depression / anxiety improve in a short period of time.

What excites you most about the future of psychedelics?

I think the possibilities are endless. There are so many psychedelics out there that’s potential have yet to be touched upon. I am excited that people will have the option of undergoing this therapy (at home) that has such a profound effect on the brain and can help so many different mental disorders.
